xiaobei-skill-academic-paper-to-ppt
Use for 小北在读研 / XiaoBei academic paper-to-PPT workflows: generate thesis-defense or project-report decks from uploaded papers, literature, reports, technical documents, and optional PPTX visual templates. Produces a source-grounded outline, an imagegen visual scheme, one complete bitmap per slide, an imagegen provenance manifest, and an image-only PPTX. Do not use when the user needs editable slide text or native editable charts.
Why this score
This repo hosts 3 skills, so its 605 stars are split between them (about 202 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 61/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 20, 2026 at commit 1b9fe1d3c5a7, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
What its code does:
- Uses dependencies without a pinned version A later version of a dependency could change what runs.requirements.txt:1 and 1 more
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
Alternatives
Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.
