blob-store
proyecto26/system-design-skillsSkill
This skill should be used when the user wants a "blob store" or "object storage", names "S3" or an S3-compatible store, needs to "store images / video / files", asks about "multipart upload" or "resumable upload", "signed / presigned URLs", "media storage", "unstructured data at scale", object "versioning", storage "tiering" (hot/cold/archive), or "erasure coding" vs replication for durability. Use it whenever a design must hold large unstructured objects (photos, video, backups, logs, ML datasets) and serve them cheaply and durably, even if the user just says "where do we put the files".
Why this score
This repo hosts 10 skills, so its 93 stars are split between them (about 9 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 48/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Nov 4, 2026 at commit a70772efb956, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
Alternatives
