modelcontextprotocol/ext-appsSkill
This skill should be used when the user asks to "add MCP App support to my web app", "turn my web app into a hybrid MCP App", "make my web page work as an MCP App too", "wrap my existing UI as an MCP App", "convert iframe embed to MCP App", "turn my SPA into an MCP App", or needs to add MCP App support to an existing web application while keeping it working standalone. Provides guidance for analyzing existing web apps and creating a hybrid web + MCP App with server-side tool and resource registration.
Why this score
This repo hosts 4 skills, so its 2,980 stars are split between them (about 745 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 64/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit 82221c0c8ce7, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
Alternatives
