d2-slides
mizchi/explainerSkill
Build a slide deck whose source is text and whose figures are laid out by TALA — one Markdown file with a ```d2 fence per figure, compiled to a self-contained HTML deck (keyboard nav, overview grid, print-to-PDF), each figure as its own SVG, and a copy manifest. The deck is a page, so vlmkit's own gates read it: `check integrity` for a slide that breaks or clips, `check copy --manifest` for text the frame cut off, `check a11y contrast` for a projector. Loop: write `deck.md` → build → gates → fix. Use when asked for slides, a deck, a talk, a presentation, a review walkthrough, or a figure-heavy
Why this score
This repo hosts 5 skills, so its 447 stars are split between them (about 89 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 66/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit ccdd7bacfb47, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
What its code does:
- Runs shell commands Common for dev tools. Read the commands it runs.assets/build-deck.mjs:47
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
