html-prototype-build

Build, annotate, review, screenshot, and deliver native HTML UI prototypes with AI agents using reusable UI packs, DOM-bound product annotations, in-browser Direct Edit, browser review pins, a local authoring server, an element-to-source Inspector, and multi-state screenshots. Use when the user mentions /html-prototype-build or asks to reconstruct UI in HTML, create product annotations, edit prototype styles, review or mark DOM elements, capture prototype states, package prototype deliverables, or add components to the module sketch board. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other Agent

This repo hosts 2 skills, so its 23 stars are split between them (about 12 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 60/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

Security

Scanned Oct 20, 2026 at commit 3aeddd938252, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

What its code does:

Runs shell commands Common for dev tools. Read the commands it runs.runtime/cli/screenshot.mjs:5, runtime/server/inspector.mjs:3 and 1 more

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan

Alternatives

Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.

Context cost: ≈155 tokens loaded every session (name and description), plus ≈1.4k tokens when the skill is used.

The Claude Code command downloads this skill folder at the pinned commit into .claude/skills/. The Skills CLI (npx skills) works with many agents but can't pin a version, so it installs whatever is current.
