Edit or build a FACELESS, Fireship "Code Report"-style tech news video (16:9, 1920x1080) — narrator never on screen, 100% B-roll that LITERALLY shows what each line says (footage of the actual person/event via fetch_footage.py, real article/doc screenshots with an orange highlighter sweep, tweet cards with X mark + profile pictures, headline card stacks, background-removed cutouts, meme cut-ins, slapped-on sticker text, built-up systems diagrams, glitch cuts) hard-cut every ~2 s over a continuous music bed at ~210 wpm deadpan narration. Use when Kevin asks for "Fireship style", a Code Report /
Why this score
This repo hosts 6 skills, so its 43 stars are split between them (about 7 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 53/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 20, 2026 at commit 7fbd74651ea9, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
What its code does:
- Makes network requestsSKILL.md, templates/fireship_engine.py:856 and 1 more
Web addresses in its code:
- youtube.comscripts/fetch_footage.py:71
These are the sites named in the code, so it's where your data could go. It isn't a complete list: code can build addresses while it runs, and a few of these may be links rather than calls. Whatever you send also goes to the AI model you use.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
