crayon-storybook
edenfunf/reelmimicSkill
Make warm children's picture-book animations (MP4) drawn in crayon, coloured pencil and pastel on cream drawing paper — waxy crayon scribble fills broken by paper tooth, coloured-pencil outlines, slow 8 fps line boil, page-turn transitions, picture-book page framing and hand-lettered CJK storybook captions. p5.js + p5.brush rendered frame by frame in headless Chrome, encoded with ffmpeg. Use when a reference video or brief calls for a crayon / colored-pencil / pastel / kids' drawing / picture-book / bedtime-story / 繪本 / 蠟筆 / 色鉛筆 / 童書 look, or when the video-clone router picks the crayon-storyb
Why this score
This repo hosts 10 skills, so its 3,662 stars are split between them (about 366 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 75/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit e42a5d8faa89, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
What its code does:
- Runs shell commands Common for dev tools. Read the commands it runs.template/render.mjs:22
- Runs code it builds while running (eval or exec) Harder to read ahead of time, since the code is assembled while it runs.template/render.mjs:122
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
Alternatives
Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.
