lsdsk
bitranox/lsdskSkill
Use when inspecting or diagnosing storage hardware - which disk hangs off which controller, whether a SATA, SAS or NVMe link runs at the speed both ends support, whether a controller sits in a slot worthy of it, how worn an SSD is, whether reallocated or pending sectors are climbing, drive temperatures, controller firmware, or where there is room for another drive. Also use when reaching for lspci, lsblk, smartctl or nvme-cli to answer any of those, and when reading an lsdsk report and deciding what to actually do about a finding.
Why this score
Popularity score: 55/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 20, 2026 at commit 03d12541e0c4, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
