build-design-system
arla6ka/design.howSkill
Use when someone wants a design system built from the UI an app already ships, or one phase of it, such as "extract tokens from the app", "add states to our Button", "replace the hardcoded colors with tokens" or "start a design system". Moving screens onto an existing system's components is migrate-design-system. A vague whole-app ask goes to design-system-boss.
Why this score
This repo hosts 9 skills, so its 141 stars are split between them (about 16 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 60/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
Security
Scanned Oct 20, 2026 at commit 6ae7e21e6def, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
What its code does:
- Runs shell commands Common for dev tools. Read the commands it runs.scripts/capture.mjs:5, scripts/check-system.mjs:9, scripts/find-chromium.mjs:21 and 7 more
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
Alternatives
Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.
