amd/gaiaSkill

Build a new GAIA agent with the SDK end-to-end: scaffold the package, write the Agent subclass, register @tool functions, compose reusable tool mixins, set the model + system prompt, and test it locally. Use when creating a NEW agent (a Python class inheriting from the base Agent) for the GAIA repo or a user-authored package, not for tuning an existing agent's prompt (prompt-engineer), adding one tool to an existing class (python-developer). GAIA ships one agent (the flagship) through the TUI and Agent UI and has no public agent catalog, so there is no publish step for a user-built agent.

This repo hosts 10 skills, so its 1,586 stars are split between them (about 159 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 70/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

Security

Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit b0d240f98bb8, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
