job-search-run

Run one headless, non-interactive job-search pass that finds and judges new postings and writes a digest. Use to run the scheduled search, check for new jobs, or run a search on demand — run a job search now, pull jobs now, do a fresh search — or when a schedule starts the run. (For interactive setup or the home view, use job-search; for a single pasted posting, use evaluate-job-fit.)

This repo hosts 7 skills, so its 55 stars are split between them (about 8 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 49/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

Security

Scanned Oct 22, 2026 at commit dba0c0992e9d, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

What its code does:

Runs shell commands Common for dev tools. Read the commands it runs.scripts/event-log-append.sh:53, scripts/fetch-posting.sh:112, scripts/list-detail-read-queue.sh:29 and 26 more

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan

Alternatives

Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.

Pinned to commit dba0c0992e9d as listed by Gemini CLI extensions gallery.

Context cost: ≈101 tokens loaded every session (name and description), plus ≈4.0k tokens when the skill is used.

The Claude Code command downloads this skill folder at the pinned commit into .claude/skills/. The Skills CLI (npx skills) works with many agents but can't pin a version, so it installs whatever is current.
