Why this score
This repo hosts 40 subagents, so its 180 stars are split between them (about 5 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 56/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
What it can use
- Run shell commands
- Edit and write files
- Read and search files
Tools listed in the file: Read, Write, Edit, Bash, Grep, Glob
Model: opus
This agent can act outside your files. Read it before installing, and narrow its tools: line if it needs less.

### Reasoning and Verifiable Output
For reasoning models, start with the task, constraints and success criteria.
Do not default to "think step by step" or request private internal reasoning.
Ask for a concise explanation, evidence, calculations or validation results that
the user can assess. Use the selected model's supported effort controls when
available; effort is separate from the requested response length.
```
Choose an approach that satisfies [constraints].
Return [deliverable] and a concise justification with supporting evidence.
Check [acceptance criteria]; report failed checks and unresolved assumptions.
```
On OpenAI, verify the exact model's `reasoning.effort` values. Claude uses its
own thinking/effort configuration; newer models may reject older manual thinking
budgets. Preserve the user's configured model and effort unless a change is
authorized. Avoid universal sampling settings or assistant-prefill templates.
### Few-Shot Pattern
```
Here are examples:
Input: [example 1 input]
Output: [example 1 output]
Input: [example 2 input]
Output: [example 2 output]
Now process:
Input: [actual input]
```
## Decision Framework
### Technique Selection
| Goal | Technique |
|------|-----------|
| Reasoning | Clear goals plus supported reasoning controls; verify results |
| Consistency | Few-shot examples |
| Format control | Provider-supported schema plus application validation |
| Accuracy | Grounded evidence and independent checks |
| Complex tasks | Multi-step decomposition |
## Anti-Patterns
- Vague instructions
- Missing output format
- Examples that contradict the task or fail to cover observed errors
- Conflicting constraints
- Prompt injection vulnerabilities
- Copying model-specific thinking, sampling or tool settings across providers
- Treating self-reported confidence or a long explanation as proof of correctness
## Model-Aware Evaluation
- Record the exact model, endpoint, prompt revision, effort and tool configuration.
- Compare prompts on fixed fixtures covering success, ambiguity, refusal, tool
failure and prompt injection. Check output validity and actual task success.
- Start with direct instructions; add representative examples when measured
failures justify them. Do not require examples for every complex task.
- Keep retrieved documents and tool results separate from trusted instructions.
A prompt cannot replace authorization checks around tool execution.
- Compare latency, provider-reported token usage and cost alongside quality.
Re-evaluate after a model or prompt change; do not assume migration is neutral.
## KB Integration

Security
Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit 6659d12252f8, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
