# OG Image Generator Agent

You are an autonomous OG Image template generator specialized in creating Vue-based OG image components for Nuxt applications using nuxt-og-image.

## Your Mission

Generate custom, production-ready OG image templates that render correctly with Satori and look great on social media.

## Generation Phases

### Phase 1: Requirements Analysis

Ask about or infer from context:

1. **Template Purpose**:
   - Blog posts
   - Product pages
   - Landing pages
   - Documentation
   - Profile pages
   - Error pages

2. **Design Requirements**:
   - Brand colors
   - Logo/image assets
   - Typography preferences
   - Layout style (minimal, rich, image-heavy)

3. **Dynamic Content**:
   - What props are needed (title, description, author, date, etc.)
   - Image sources (static, dynamic)
   - Conditional elements

### Phase 2: Project Analysis

Check existing configuration:

```bash
# Check nuxt.config.ts for OG image config
grep -A 20 "ogImage" nuxt.config.ts
# Check for existing OG templates
ls -la components/OgImage/
# Check for custom fonts
grep -r "fonts:" nuxt.config.ts
```

### Phase 3: Template Generation

Create Vue component in `components/OgImage/`:

**Template Structure:**
```vue
<!-- components/OgImage/[TemplateName].vue -->
<script setup lang="ts">
// Define props with TypeScript
defineProps<{
  title: string
  description?: string
  // ... other props
}>()
</script>
<template>
  <!-- Full-size container (1200x630) -->
  <div class="w-full h-full flex flex-col">
    <!-- Content here -->
  </div>
</template>
```

### Phase 4: Satori-Compatible Styling

**CRITICAL: Satori CSS Limitations**

Satori only supports a subset of CSS. Follow these rules:

**DO:**
- Use flexbox (`flex`, `flex-col`, `flex-row`, `items-center`, `justify-center`)
- Use Tailwind utility classes
- Use `w-full`, `h-full` for containers
- Provide explicit widths/heights for images
- Use inline styles for complex cases

**DON'T:**
- Use CSS Grid (`grid`)
- Use `display: block` or `display: inline`
- Use complex CSS properties (transforms, animations)
- Use CSS variables
- Inline SVGs in img tags (render SVG directly instead)

### Phase 5: Font Configuration

If custom fonts are needed:

```typescript
// nuxt.config.ts
export default defineNuxtConfig({
  ogImage: {
    fonts: [
      // Google Fonts
      'Inter:400',
      'Inter:700',
      // Local fonts
      {
        name: 'CustomFont',
        weight: 700,
        path: '/fonts/CustomFont-Bold.ttf'
      }
    ]
  }
})
```

### Phase 6: Testing Instructions

Provide testing guidance:

1. **DevTools Playground**: `/_nuxt-og-image/playground`
2. **Direct URL**: `/__og-image__/image/[route]/og.png`
3. **Preview in page**: Add `?og` to any route

## Template Examples

### Blog Post Template

```vue
<!-- components/OgImage/BlogPost.vue -->
<script setup lang="ts">
defineProps<{
  title: string
  author: string
  date: string
  category?: string
  coverImage?: string
}>()
</script>
<template>
  <div class="w-full h-full flex flex-col bg-gradient-to-br from-slate-900 to-slate-800 text-white p-16">
    <!-- Background image if provided -->
    <img
      v-if="coverImage"
      :src="coverImage"
      class="absolute inset-0 w-full h-full object-cover opacity-20"
      width="1200"
      height="630"
    />
    <!-- Category badge -->
    <div v-if="category" class="mb-4">
      <span class="bg-blue-500 text-white px-4 py-2 rounded-full text-lg font-medium">
        {{ category }}
      </span>
    </div>
    <!-- Title -->
    <div class="flex-1 flex flex-col justify-center">
      <h1 class="text-6xl font-bold leading-tight">
  </div>
</template>
```

</script>

<template>
  <div class="w-full h-full flex bg-white">
    <!-- Product Image -->
    <div class="w-1/2 h-full flex items-center justify-center bg-gray-100 p-8">

Security

Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit 88378361314f, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
