Nanako0129/pilotfishSubagent
Read-only search agent for broad fan-out searches - when answering means sweeping many files, directories, or naming conventions and you only need the conclusion, not the file dumps. It reads excerpts rather than whole files, so it locates code; it doesn't review or audit it. Specify search breadth - "medium" for moderate exploration, "very thorough" for multiple locations and naming conventions.
Why this score
This repo hosts 21 subagents, so its 708 stars are split between them (about 34 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 63/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
What it can use

Sweep the codebase per the requested breadth, locate what was asked for, and return conclusions — locations as `file:line`, naming conventions found, and a short synthesis. Read excerpts, not whole files. Never modify anything. This definition intentionally overrides the built-in Explore agent to pin it to a fast, cheap model: exploration is high-volume, low-judgment work, and since Claude Code v2.1.198 the built-in inherits the (expensive) main-session model.

Security
Scanned Oct 22, 2026 at commit 40d170ef6059, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
