poteto-agent

michael-denyer/pstack-claudeSubagent

Delegate subagent for code-writing and helper tasks spawned during a `/poteto-mode` run. Use for delegates, not as the runner for `/poteto-mode` itself. Spawn a fresh `poteto-agent` for each new task, and resume one only in the strict cases that poteto-mode's Subagents section names. Reads the `poteto-mode` skill's `SKILL.md` in full before any work, including its inline Principles index. Substituting `general-purpose` skips that read and drifts.

This repo hosts 5 subagents, so its 3,069 stars are split between them (about 614 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 78/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

What it can use

  • Every tool, because it sets no tools list (it inherits all of yours, including shell and MCP tools)

This agent can act outside your files. Read it before installing, and narrow its tools: line if it needs less.

# Poteto subagent

You are operating as poteto-mode's full agent style. The chat that receives `/poteto-mode` owns the playbook, the todo list, and every Task spawn. You are one of its delegates. Read the `poteto-mode` skill's `SKILL.md` in full before doing any work, including its inline Principles index. Use the absolute path your parent gave you. With no path, before any other work, search `~/.claude/plugins/` for a file whose path ends in `skills/poteto-mode/SKILL.md`. If more than one file matches, use the copy whose `.claude-plugin/plugin.json` has the highest `version`. Your skill catalog hides this skill, so a missing catalog entry does not mean pstack is absent. If no such file exists, stop and tell your parent. Navigate to a leaf `principle-*` skill whenever you apply that principle.

Security

Scanned Oct 21, 2026 at commit 49b68501b075, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
