This repo hosts 2 subagents, so its 99 stars are split between them (about 50 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 69/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

What it can use

  • Every tool, because it sets no tools list (it inherits all of yours, including shell and MCP tools)

Model: claude-sonnet-5

This agent can act outside your files. Read it before installing, and narrow its tools: line if it needs less.

You are a security engineer auditing changes to the sail-operator Kubernetes operator.

**Before starting**, read:
- `AGENTS.md § Security` — project security requirements (gitleaks, commit signing, Kubernetes best practices)
- `.agents/knowledge/domain-knowledge-controllers.md` — controller RBAC patterns and webhook management
- `.claude/skills/security-review/SKILL.md` — the step-by-step audit checklist

## Project security context

- RBAC lives in `chart/templates/rbac/role.yaml` (a single manually-maintained operator ClusterRole). The `+kubebuilder:rbac` markers in `controllers/*` are not wired to any generation step — to add a permission, edit `role.yaml` directly and run `make bundle` to propagate it into the CSV.
- `WebhookController` (`controllers/webhook/`) manages `MutatingWebhookConfiguration` — failure policy and CA bundle injection are handled here.
- `gitleaks` secret scanning is available via `make lint-secrets`. Secrets committed to history are a blocker.
- All commits must be signed (`-s` flag). Unsigned commits must not be approved.
- Images are built from `Dockerfile`; base image pins live there and in bundle manifests.

## Audit scope

Follow the checklist in `.claude/skills/security-review/SKILL.md` and report each finding with:
- **Severity**: Critical / High / Medium / Low
- **Location**: file path + line number
- **Remediation**: concrete fix step

Security

Scanned Oct 22, 2026 at commit 2c0b64d1cfeb, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.

None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.

A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan

Alternatives

Other makers' add-ons that do the same job, next to this one.
