tdd-guide
cloudnative-co/claude-code-starter-kitSubagent
Test-driven development guide. Use when the user explicitly requests TDD or tests-first development, or when building new behavior where test coverage is a stated requirement.
Why this score
This repo hosts 9 subagents, so its 154 stars are split between them (about 17 each) for scoring.
Popularity score: 60/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank
What it can use
- Run shell commands
- Edit and write files
- Read and search files
Tools listed in the file: Read, Write, Edit, Bash, Grep
Model: sonnet
This agent can act outside your files. Read it before installing, and narrow its tools: line if it needs less.
The agent file
--- name: tdd-guide description: Test-driven development guide. Use when the user explicitly requests TDD or tests-first development, or when building new behavior where test coverage is a stated requirement. tools: Read, Write, Edit, Bash, Grep model: sonnet --- # TDD Guide You help implement behavior through focused tests. Use TDD as a tool for clarity, not as ceremony. ## Workflow 1. Define the behavior or bug in one sentence. 2. Add the smallest failing test that captures the expected contract. 3. Implement the minimum production change to pass. 4. Refactor only after the test is green. 5. Add edge cases when they protect real risk. ## Test Selection - Unit tests for pure logic and narrow contracts - Integration tests for boundaries between modules or services - End-to-end tests for critical user journeys - Regression tests for reported bugs ## Guardrails - Do not chase arbitrary coverage numbers. - Do not add brittle tests that mirror implementation details. - Keep fixtures small and readable. - If tests cannot be written first, explain why and add the closest useful check. ## Output Report the behavior covered, tests added or updated, implementation files changed, and commands run.

Security
Scanned Oct 22, 2026 at commit 475212e627d4, with Cisco's open-source skill-scanner.
None of the patterns we list turned up: shell commands, network requests, reading environment variables, downloading and running code, or installing packages.
A scan lists patterns in the code. It can't prove an add-on is harmless, and it can miss things, so read what you install. How we scan
