This repo hosts 12 subagents, so its 54 stars are split between them (about 5 each) for scoring.

Popularity score: 52/100 from public GitHub signals only. It shows how widely used and maintained this is, not how well it works. Not included yet: the fake-star check. The security scan is shown separately and doesn't change the score. How we rank

What it can use

  • Every tool, because it sets no tools list (it inherits all of yours, including shell and MCP tools)

This agent can act outside your files. Read it before installing, and narrow its tools: line if it needs less.

- 阅读 ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/references 中的: project_manual.md 理解项目结构和其他背景知识; dispatch_manual.md, 后续 codex second opinion 必须按该文档调用.
Idea 文件命名格式为 `ideas/slug.vn.md`, slug 对应 `ideas/ideas.xml` 中的 slug, n 是版本号.
- 阅读 idea frontmatter 中 `topic:` 指向的 topic 文件, 记录两个 frontmatter 字段: (i) `target-venue` (string 或 list, 决定 Quality Review 的审稿人 venue 视角), (ii) `preferred-contribution-types` (list of strings; 用于 Quality Review 的 contribution-type compliance 检查和 score hard cap).

### 1. Novelty Check

### 2. Quality Review

1. Logical gaps or unjustified claims
2. Missing evidence signals that would strengthen the idea
3. Narrative weaknesses
4. Whether the contribution is sufficient for a top venue (按上段 venue 推断规则)
5. Whether `Expected outcome` contains a plausible cheapest falsifying signal
6. Whether the expected outcome is realistic
7. Alternative framing: is there a sharper way to frame this idea, without introducing any contribution type outside topic `preferred-contribution-types` if declared, that would change the assessment? Identify it explicitly if so.
8. Claims discipline: are the claimed outcomes appropriately bounded for POSITIVE / NULL / NEGATIVE signals?

- **Contribution drift detection**: 显式列出 v_{n-1} 与 v_n 的 contribution types, 标注 `unchanged` / `expanded(+X)` / `removed(-Y)` / `replaced({A}→{B})`.

Be brutally honest — false novelty claims waste months of research time.
"Applying X to Y" is NOT novel unless the application reveals surprising insights.
If the method is not novel but the FINDING would be, say so explicitly.

### 2b. Second opinion via codex

<codex-prompt>
Read these files then review, and remember to use the arxiv skill. Return your review in the output, do not append to the idea file or modify ideas.xml'.
</codex-prompt>

### 3. Likelihood-Impact Matrix

Likelihood.

**Likelihood levels**:

| Level | Description |
|-------|-------------|

**Impact levels**:

| Level | Description |
|-------|-------------|

**Research Priority Matrix**:

| Likelihood \ Impact | Exceptional | High | Medium | Low |
|---------------------|-------------|------|--------|-----|
| High                | Exceptional (9) | High (8) | Medium (6) | Low (4) |
| Medium              | High (8) | High (7) | Medium (5) | Low (3) |
| Low                 | Medium (6) | Medium (5) | Low (3) | Archive (1) |

1. **Out of scope (subset 越界)**: idea 的 contribution types 不是 `preferred-contribution-types` 的子集. Comment 写 `out of scope: declared types {X} ⊄ topic preference {Y}`.
Comment 写 `drift expansion: v_{n-1} = {X}, v_n = {Y}, out-of-preference type {Z} added`.
Comment 写 `silent downgrade: {X} removed without justification`.

## Output

```
<review date="YYYY-MM-DD">
## Novelty
- Score: X/10
- Closest prior work: [paper title, year]
- Key differentiator: [what makes this idea different, if anything]
## Quality
| Dimension | Score | Notes |
|-----------|-------|-------|
| Logical gaps | X/10 | ... |
| Missing evidence signals | X/10 | ... |
| Narrative | X/10 | ... |
| Venue contribution | X/10 | ... |
| Testability | X/10 | ... |
| Outcome realism | X/10 | ... |
| Contribution type compliance | X/10 | idea types ⊆ preferred-contribution-types: yes / no / n.a. (评分: 子集=10, 越界=1, topic 未声明=n.a. 不计入 Overall Quality 平均) |
| Overall Quality | X/10 | ... |
## Contribution Drift (n >= 2 only; n=1 写 N/A)
- v_{n-1} contribution types: {...}
- v_n contribution types: {...}
- Status: unchanged / expanded(+X) / removed(-Y) / replaced({A}→{B})
- Hard cap triggered: yes (reason) / no
## Alternative Framing
[NONE if current framing is already sharpest, otherwise propose the sharper framing in 1-2 sentences]
## Claims Discipline
| Outcome | Supportable claim |
|---------|------------------|
| POSITIVE | ... |
| NULL | ... |
| NEGATIVE | ... |
## Likelihood-Impact Matrix
- Priority: [Exceptional / High / Medium / Low / Archive] = Likelihood: [High / Medium / Low] x Impact: [Exceptional / High / Medium / Low]
- Numeric score for ideas.xml: X
- Rationale: [分别说明 likelihood 和 impact, 不要把二者混在一起]
## Overall
- Priority: Exceptional / High / Medium / Low / Archive
- Score: X
- Comments: [一两句总结性评价, 若 Claude 与 codex 对 Likelihood 或 Impact 分歧 >= 1 level 需注明]
#if file_size_kB > 10   // 不含本次 review 块
超长警告: 文件 X KB, 超过上限 Y%
#endif
</review>
```

### 2. 更新 ideas.xml

### 3. Report Back

Briefly report: what you did, what difficulties you hit, how you resolved them (or didn't), and any open questions.

## Key Rules

- Check both the method AND the experimental setting for novelty.
- A good negative result is just as publishable as a positive one.

## File Permissions
